SIX ANGRY WOMEN
Six Angry Women is a feature documentary about one of the most audacious feminist actions of all time.
In 1984 a group of women kidnapped Auckland University drama lecturer and self-proclaimed feminist Mervyn Thompson who they accused of being a rapist. They were never found, and Mervyn Thompson was never charged. With the rise of the Me Too movement and call out culture, it's time to reopen the cold case and investigate who the six women were and what drove them to such violent action. Six Angry Women was selected for the prestigious Santa Barbara Film festival and the Female Eye Film Festival.
